Each test assesses candidates ability to speak, write, read, comprehend the English language. who wish to enroll in universities and other educational institutions for higher education in an English speaking country.

Only one of the above is needed

The scores of these tests are accepted by many universities in Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, United States and Canada.

There is no minimum score required to pass this test and each individual institution will issue its own scoring condition.

Many universities, in and outside USA, are also using this as a measure to evaluate student potential to pursue various demanding post graduate programs. Students must check with the web site of their program to find out which test is required for admissions.

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is part of the admission process for MBA or other post graduate degrees at most business schools in the USA and for some of the top ranked business schools in other countries.
